HERE'S HOW IT ALL WORKS
In a typical transaction, where you hire an agent to list/sell your home, and then use the same agent to buy your next home, that agent gets two commissions – one commission (usually 3%) to list/sell your home, and another commission (usually 3%) to help you buy your next home. In each transaction, the Seller typically pays the commission, which is split between the Seller’s agent (usually 3%) and the Buyer’s agent (usually 3%). When you list your home with us and agree to use us to buy your next Colorado home, we won’t charge you a commission to list/sell your home. This means that you, as the Seller, will only be responsible for the Buyer’s Agent commission. This will save you 3% on the sale of your home! We will then get paid one commission (3%) when you work with us to purchase your next Colorado home and the commission comes out of that Seller’s pocket, not yours! In short, we will list and sell your home and help you purchase a new home – all without you paying us a penny in commissions! Instead of making 6% total between your two transactions, we make 3%. With the price of real estate in Colorado, we believe an agent making 3% to do this work is sufficient, and it allows our clients to save more of their hard-earned money!
